Katie came in to Harlow Brides in February of 2017 and we loved working with her to create the dream dress for her summer wedding. Katie wanted something that would look beautiful in the mountain setting that she had chosen, something traditional but current and easy to wear. The La Sposa by St Patrick wedding gown she chose is a creamy ivory lace over satin with cotton lace appliqué accented with clear sequins that give the wedding gown a little sparkle in the sun. Katie had the cutest pale pink shoes to go with the dress and her flowers tied the look together. Her something borrowed was a vintage veil her aunt wore on her wedding day.
Our seamstress at Harlow Brides changed the bodice of the wedding gown to be a sweetheart neckline and rounded the points where the dress once had straps. The back of the wedding gown dipped down and closed with beautiful satin buttons. Changes to the wedding gown are what make the dress specifically Katie’s, and that is one of the things we enjoy doing for each bride. We love the loose curls and partial up do that she wore for the ceremony and then for the party she let her hair down with no veil. They could not have chosen a more beautiful setting or day for their wedding.
